Krabi and Railei Beach

After the intense heat of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand, we needed a little beach time.  We hopped a cheap flight down to Krabi Province for a stop before we head further south to Malaysia.  Spent a beautiful day at Railei Beach--an incredible spot accessible only by boat and surrounded by steep, tree-topped cliffs.

How many tourists can you fit on a moped taxi?

Lunch at Cuckoo Café on Ao Nang Beach

All aboard the long tail to Railei Beach

Sea worthy!

Long tails are basically powered by a truck engine attached to a long drive shaft.

Karsts dramatically rise from the ocean--giving texture to the horizon

Look at me.  Look at me.  I am the captain now.

  1. Lol at I am the captain now. Did they let you steer? Also karsts are my new favorite things that I didn't know existed and also also never have so many inches of legs and arms been in a moped taxi in history.

Love you so much! Keep em coming!!

  2. That boat! Awesome. Love all the pics - so happy for you guys!

  3. Looks like a cool place - Keep the pics coming.
